> SCTV
– Second City Television Coming to TV Land!
Premiere: Friday March 18th, 12am-2am
Airing every Friday, 12am-2am
Derived
from the famed Second City comedy troupe in Chicago, a branch sprang up
in Toronto, and the SCTV series was born. Second City TV was
parody program, a show-within-a show. Taking place at the fictional
“SCTV Studios,” the “staff” consisted of Guy Caballero (played by Joe
Flaherty) as the station owner, Edith Prickly (Andrea Martin) as the
manager, and Earl Camembert (Eugene Levy) as the announcer-newscaster.
Each program consisted of a group of sketches set at the SCTV Studios.
Cast members did take-offs on quiz shows, news, and anything else on the
tube. They even performed spoofs of classic TV shows, such as Leave
it to Beaver and Welcome Back, Kotter. Other stars of the
show include Martin Short, John Candy, Rick Moranis, and Harold Ramis.
Specific Episode, and additional information will be posted as it
becomes available!

The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp comes to TV
Land in February!
Every Saturday and Sunday at 3 & 3:30 pm.
On February 5, 2005
Wyatt Earp the series will be joining the TV Land lineup on
Saturdays and Sundays.
Debuting on Sept. 6,
1955, "The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp" was the first adult
western on television beating out "Gunsmoke" for that distinction by
four days. Of the two series, "Wyatt Earp" was more upbeat and
fast-paced, airing for its entire six-year run on ABC on Tuesday nights.
It featured Hugh
O'Brien as the legendary marshal, first in Ellsworth, Kansas, then in
Dodge City, Kansas, and finally in Tombstone, Arizona. The series
emphasized the interrelations of the characters, and the plots involved
character development and politics as often as they did action. The
series, if it did not portray Earp's life with the utmost accuracy, at
least paid lip service to history, and the series ended with the
infamous gunfight at the O. K. Corral.

this is our chance to get it. A reality show about the

series will allow us a look into the life of the most
