The theme song, SurfSide 6, was written by Mack David and Jerry Livingston. A version of the theme can be found on Television's Greatest Hits, Vol. 1.

Ken's Ring

The ring Ken wears in the series is actually Van Williams' wedding ring. The ring is usually on Ken's right finger, since Ken is a bachelor, but occasionally it shows up on his left finger (as in the episode "The Affairs at Hotel Delight").

Houseboat Information

The actual name of the houseboat used in SurfSide 6 was the Driftwood. It was owned by Larry Vita at the time of the series. At last report, the Driftwood is in Jacksonville, Florida as a museum.
