Rodney is an American television sitcom that began broadcasting on ABC on September 21, 2004. The show's story, loosely based on the life of the titular character's actor, comedian Rodney Carrington, revolves around the character Rodney Hamilton who wishes to leave his horrible job in Tulsa, Oklahoma to become a stand-up comedian. The show also began broadcasting in the UK on ABC1 on May 31, 2005. Other cast members include Jennifer Aspen, who plays Trina Hamilton (Rodney's wife), and Amy Pietz, who plays Charlie, Trina's sister.
