Set within the framework of a circus, this was the story of an aging clown who tries to help a young singer, Kim O'Neill, who has just joined the troupe. Kim had joined the circus to be near its owner, Bill Sothern, a boisterous, fun-loving giant of aman with whom she had fallen in love. Musical production numbers as well as real circus acts were featured in this series, all interwoven with the stories of the personal and professional conflicts of circus life. Originating live from New York, the series was aired every fourth week in the time slot normally occupied by Milton Berle's Texaco Star Theatre.
