Steve Weber (formerly of Wings) stars as an ad exec who suffers from a curse put on him by a blind date. The show also features Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City) as an ex-girlfriend, Chris Elliott (Get a Life) as his roommate, and Wendell Pierce (The Gregory Hines Show) as a co-worker. The Weber Show aired on NBC Thursday nights at 8:30pm ET, and was originally called Cursed by the network. When the show was first suggested, the idea was that Steven Weber's character would actually be plagued by a long-time curse, but that idea was soon dropped, and the curse never appeared in episode but the premiere.
