	Touched by an Angel was a television show created by John Masius that ran on CBS from September 21, 1994, until April 27, 2003. It starred Roma Downey as Monica, an angel who would minister to people in need of help. It co-starred Della Reese as Tess, Monica's boss, and John Dye as the Angel of Death. During its run, it was one of the highest rated shows on CBS. Valerie Bertinelli joined the cast in 2001. Touched by an Angel spawned a short lived spin-off, Promised Land.
