This series, which originated on radio in 1945 hosted by Martha Roundtree, features a panel of reporters questioning a leading public figure. Ned Brooks took over for Ms. Roundtree in 1953, Lawrence Spivak in 1965, Bill Monroe in 1975, Marvin Kalb in 1984, Chris Wallace in 1987, Garrick Utley in 1988, and Tim Russert since 1991. The show is the longest running series in the history of television.
