> Description 
What I Like About You is a television show that is based in New York City and follows the lives of two sisters, Valerie Tyler (Jennie Garth) and Holly Tyler (Amanda Bynes). The show is on The WB and first aired in September, 2002. The series takes its title (and theme song) from a 1980 hit record by The Romantics (see What I Like About You (song)).

The show begins with Holly's father moving to Japan, leaving Val to raise 16 year old Holly for the time being. Holly tries to fit into her sister's lifestyle, which leads to trouble for Val.
