Trump Soaps Up for 'Days' Cameo
(Posted September 14, 2005 by Leah Yoakum) LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) Donald Trump, soon to be back in primetime with a new edition of "The Apprentice," is making a foray into daytime TV as well. Trump is set to tape a guest appearance on the NBC soap "Days of Our Lives" Friday (Sept. 16). As is the case with pretty much all of his appearances on scripted shows, he'll be playing himself. The cameo, scheduled to air Monday, Oct. 24, will find Trump leaving a meeting at the office of Mickey Horton (John Ingle) and bumping into "vixen" (NBC's word) Nicole Walker (Arianne Zuker). He'll also make note of the 40th anniversary of the Horton Foundation -- a nod to "Days'" upcoming 40th anniversary. The show debuted Nov. 8, 1965, and is planning to celebrate its four decades of existence with a number of guest appearances and the return of some favorite characters in the coming weeks. The "Days" spot will mark Trump's daytime drama debut. He's appeared in a number prime-time shows, among them "The Job," "Sex and the City" and "The X-Files," playing himself every time.
