WE: Women's Entertainment is a US cable television channel which is marketed towards women. It features some original programming, such as non-fiction talk shows, as well as made-for-TV movies, older feature films, and re-runs of TV shows. Thematically, the programming is focused on women and women's issues.
It is formerly known as Romance Classics, and a substary of Rainbow Media Holdings, Inc. LIke its sister station, American Movie Classics, it showed commercial free movies. The practice was abandoned when the station became WE: Women's Entertainment. WE is based in Jericho, New York. |
