'Biggest Loser' Dispels Weight Loss Myths |

According to the producers and trainers of NBC's "Biggest Loser," this doesn't mean that men naturally lose more weight faster than women. Taking steps to the prove this, the second season of the hit reality show will have the two teams divided down gender lines, with the women being trained by Bob Harper and the men getting whipped into shape by Jillian Michaels.
While the pound number will provoke a Pavlovian reponse to dieters everywhere, percentage is what really counts. Changing the perception from pounds to percentage is just for starters. Those who tell themselves that weight loss should be kept to a couple of pounds a week are actually confusing "realistic" with "healthy." Source: Zap2it |
