CBS still weighing anchor possibilities |

(Posted July 21, 2005 by Leah Yoakum) Rather left March 9, making way for CBS News veteran correspondent Bob Schieffer to take over temporarily. It isn't clear how long he will stay. Moonves and CBS News president Andrew Heyward said they will use the summer to formulate a plan and test elements of it before unveiling the broadcast. Moonves reaffirmed his commitment to not luring a major news star to the anchor chair. |
