Gil Cates back to produce Academy Awards |

(Posted November 17, 2005 by Leah Yoakum) BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Emmy Award-winning producer Gil Cates will take on his 13th Academy Awards for the February telecast. The big question now is: who will host the show? Choosing a host will be the first job for Cates, whom the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences named as the show's producer Wednesday. A decision is likely in the next few weeks, said show publicist Toni Thompson. |
