Nick at Nite is getting some new 'Friends' |

(Posted July 11, 2005 by Stephen Strong) Nick at Nite is getting some new Friends beginning in 2011 in a shared deal with TBS. According to Variety, the Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution off-net series has been licensed to Nick at Nite for approx $500k per ep (total of 236 episodes) plus 1-1/2 minutes of barter time, to carry the show in the evenings thru 2017. Meanwhile, TBS has renewed their deal which will extend their current contract for the same 6-year time frame and as a result of only being able to air the show before 6pm, will pay only $275k per ep, with no barter. |
