WB Jumps into Thursday Fray |
|
(Posted August 29, 2005 by Leah Yoakum) The way the third through sixth spots sort themselves out, though, could get interesting.
The WB got the small piece of the Thursday pie pretty much every week in the 2004-05 season. That's understandable given that in a good number of those weeks, 90 of the network's 120 minutes of programming were devoted to reruns, with only "Blue Collar TV" (since shipped off to Sundays) in first run. That won't be the case in the coming season. The WB is moving two shows with well-established fan bases, "Smallville" and "Everwood," to Thursday in the hope of grabbing some of the viewers that fell away from NBC last season. |
