- TV Land Movie-of-the-Weeks
Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1
8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. ET/PT each night (approx.)
TV Land will present a week-long showcase of Made-for-TV Movies. It was a daring concept for an uncertain time - a weekly series of original movies produced especially for television. But this expensive gamble delivered top-ten ratings (and a slew of memorable titles) for nearly 2 decades beginning in 1969 before fading off to TV never land in the mid-80s. These classic movies are back for campy enjoyment all summer long. Titles scheduled to air during this event include:

* The Day After (1983-ABC)
Nominated for 12 Emmys and ranked as the 2nd highest rated TV movie of all time.
* Sybil (1976-NBC)
Winner of 4 Emmys and a Peabody Award and the movie that helped launch Sally Field’s dramatic career.
* Brian’s Song (1971-ABC)
Nominated for 11 Emmys and winner of 5 of them, starring James Caan and Billy Dee Williams.
* “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble” (1976-ABC)
Starring John Travolta
* “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pitman” (1974-CBS)
Starring Cicely Tyson
* “Helter Skelter” (1976-CBS)
Held the TV movie ratings record until “Roots” premiered.
* “The Execution of Private Slovik” (1974-NBC)
Starring Martin Seen, Ned Beatty, and Gary Busey.

A 24 hour marathon is scheduled for Saturday, July 3 and Sunday July 4, from 8pm to 8pm et/pt.
