'Terminator' Rises Again at FOX |
|
(Posted November 11, 2005 by Leah Yoakum) Producers Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna, who brought "Terminator 3" to the big screen two years ago, are looking to bring the story to television. FOX is happy to oblige them, giving a pilot commitment to the project.
The pilot, written by Josh Friedman ("War of the Worlds"), is tentatively titled "The Sarah Connor Chronicles," the showbiz trade papers report. It will follow Sarah and her teenage son John -- whose destiny is to save humanity from the machines -- in the years between the second and third "Terminator" films. Kassar and Vajna have also announced their intention to produce a fourth "Terminator" movie, although no one's been cast and a filming date hasn't been set. |
