Moore Comes Home for 'That '70s Show' |
|
(Posted August 24, 2005 by Leah Yoakum) Moore has signed on to guest-star in three episodes of "That '70s Show" this season, playing a local newscaster who hires Jackie (Mila Kunis) as her assistant. The episodes are set to air early next year, although specific dates haven't been determined yet.
The role will wink at her iconic "Mary Tyler Moore Show" persona, for which she won four Emmys playing the nice-to-a-fault TV reporter Mary Richards. On "That '70s Show," she'll play a character named Christine St. George, who charms viewers when the camera is on her and terrorizes Jackie and others when it's off. Moore replayed another of her Emmy-winning sitcom roles last year in the CBS special "The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited." Her recent credits also include PBS' "The Gin Game," which also paired her with Van Dyke, and the CBS movie "Blessings." |
