Priestley, Garth Reunite on 'What I Like About You'

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) The WB's "What I Like About You" staged a mini-"Beverly Hills, 90210" reunion last year by having Luke Perry guest-star as a love interest for Jennie Garth's Val.

But Dylan and Kelly eventually broke up on "90210," and she later got together with Brandon. Which is exactly what "What I Like" is having Garth do this season.

The show, which has its season premiere Friday (Sept. 16), has signed Jason Priestley to appear in two episodes in October as a new love interest for Val. Dan Cortese ("Veronica's Closet," "Rock Me Baby") will also be joining the show, playing Val's husband, Vic.

We should explain here that Val isn't too thrilled about her new marriage, the result of a wild night in Atlantic City. She becomes interested in Priestley's character while trying to distance herself from Vic.

Priestley most recently co-starred in FOX's "Tru Calling" and will co-star with Tom Cavanagh ("Ed") in the CBS midseason series "Love Monkey." The "What I Like About You" episodes will be the first time he and Garth have acted together since "90210's" end, although both contributed voice work to the "Family Guy" movie "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story."
