Evan, whose leukemia prevents him from playing with friends, is up in the tree when Mr. Rattner cuts it down. Frankie has to make a big effort to get along with her abrasive mother-in-law, Naomi Margolis. Finally, Alex surprises Victor by showing up at the pool hall for a date with him.

Original Air Date: November 16, 1991

Other Information (Trivia, Fun Facts, etc):
I find it humorous that Alexís idea of the perfect man is Victor. And she doesnít seem to notice at all. Victor is not only good looking, but heís some sort of poet and romantic. It stands to reason that if a she really didnít think of him in her predicament, itís because she looks down on him because she assumes heís poor.

When Alex admits to getting a tattoo with Victor, she says she has no memory - specifically from pain. However, when you get a tattoo, it hurts for days and even weeks after word. Thereís no way she could say she doesnít remember if it hurt, one would assume that if it hurts the day after, it probably hurt when the needles were actually shooting ink into your skin.

Naomi: They say if you drink 8 of these a day youíll live forever. But what they donít say is that youíll be spending most of that time on the john.
