24 year old growing actor, Matt Long was born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Winchester, Kentucky. Finding a solid interest in the acting business at a very young age, Matt Long pursued the seeds of his dreams by performing in his elementary school plays. Matt continued to foster his love of acting at Western Kentucky University where, after graduating, moved to New York to continue his acting career. As Matt began performing at acclaimed Williamstown Theatre Fest, his current manager discovered his sensational acting abilities and immediately booked his first commercial. Not long after, the critically acclaimed new WB drama series Jack & Bobby found Matt Long to play the leading role of bigger brother, Jack McCallister. Matthew Long now experiences enjoyable hikes and outdoor activities in Los Angeles where he films his new tv series. Matt remarks, "There was a time I thought about being a professional guide. I'm a big outdoorsman, but the acting thing has always been there - always something I wanted to do".
