Biography: Milo Anthony Ventimiglia (born July 8, 1977) is an American actor.
An Orange County native, he is probably best known for his role as Jess Mariano in the television comedy Gilmore Girls. He starred as a hormonal 15-year-old in the short-lived series Opposite Sex with Allison Mack. In 2004, he signed-on in a recurring capacity on the 1960's drama American Dreams. In addition to acting, Ventimiglia has directed several WB promotional commercials.
Ventimiglia wanted to act since he was a young boy, and studied at the University of California Los Angeles and the San Francisco American Conservatory.
As well as wanting to direct, Ventimiglia has guest starred on series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
From 2000 to 2003, Ventimiglia played broody teen Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls. He signed on for a spin-off of "Gilmore Girls," entitled Windward Circle, which would focus on the relationship between Jess and his estranged father, however it was cancelled due to the high cost of filming on location in Venice, California.
He will next be seen in the movie "Dirty Deeds" (2005) and the 2006 series The Bedford Diaries
