Biography: George Hamilton (born on August 12, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee) is a popular American film and television actor. He won a Best Actor award in a High School contest. He entered the cinema in 1952 and he has remained active to the current day. He has directed several films. He was the son of bandleader George Hamilton.
He has often been mistaken for the actor Warren Beatty. He is also noted for his perpetual tan and for his colourful private life. Hamilton met First Daughter Lynda Bird Johnson during 1966, beginning a romance. George Hamilton was married to Alana Collins from 1970 to 1975. They have a son Ashley Hamilton (1974- ) and he also has a son George Thomas Hamilton by Kimberley Backford (2000- )
