Birth Place: n/a

Biography: Barrable-Tishauer has a long theatrical acting career, which goes back to the early 2000s, when she was cast to play a major character in the Toronto version of "The Lion King". Barrable-Tishauer was born in Toronto.

An experienced dancer, pianist and trombone player, Barrable-Tishauer got the opportunity, in 2002, to act alongside Gregory Hines, himself a very experienced film actor and tap dancer, in the 2002 made for television film "The Red Sneakers". This was her first major experience as a television actress.

Soon after, she was cast as "Liberty Van Zandt" in the Canadian television hit series, "Degrassi: The Next Generation". Being at "Degrassi" gave Barrable-Tishauer much fame, as the program had proven to be popular among Canadian teenagers since 1979, and, when Barrable-Tishauer joined, it was enjoying one of its most popular eras.

"Liberty", the character that she plays in the famed series, is a shy, but tough looking girl who wears glasses and who has a hard time admitting she is in love with a boy from the "Degrassi" school. Nevertheless, Liberty soon gets involved romantically with the boy she likes, J.T. Yorke.

When the show was bought by American television network Nickelodeon in 2004, Barrable-Tishauer began to become famous in that country as well.
