Biography: This talented actress has the face of a madonna and the body of Madonna. At age 15, she was discovered in San Diego by the Elite Modeling Agency and sent to New York to begin a career as a fashion model. She was considered too short for runway work. She returned to the left coast that summer and at the urging of her aunt, "Let's make A Deal" spokesmodel Carol Merrill, began taking acting classes. The rest is Hollywood history.
During the 2003 season she starred in the critically acclaimed "Karen Sisco" fleshing out the role created by Jennifer Lopez in Out of Sight.
On the big screen she has worked four times with director Robert Rodriguez, most recently in Sin City. Behind the cameras, she was co-producer and star of the little noir thriller Judas Kiss.
On the boards in 2003, Carla appeared on Broadway to great reviews in Arthur Miller's "After the Fall." She gave a volcanic performance as Maggie (read Marilyn Monroe) and revealed her lovely figure on stage in at least one scene.
