Birth Place: Detroit, MI Lives Today: Los Angeles, CA Also Credited as: none
Biography: New York University educated, Broadway stage trained, Kristen is taking Hollywood by storm. The description of her character Veronica Mars by the roommate of Abel Koontz's daughter as being "cute as a button" would apply to Kristen too. She is sharp as a tack as well, Buffy with a brain, a neo Nancy Drew.
In elementary school Kristen was known as Annie Bell because of her love for the musical Annie. I can just hear her belting out Tomorrow at the top of her lungs, "The sun'll come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be sun!"
According to a middle school mate, Kristen made her earliest on-screen appearances in Bar Mitzvah videos. At 10 years old, The Tinier Blonde One looked very much like she does now.
Kristen is just units short of graduating from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Musical Theater. Off Broadway she appeared as Mary Lane in the "Reefer Madness" musical comedy. Kristen reprised that role in the film version "Reefer Madness, The Movie Musical" on Showtime earlier this year.
Kristen first appeared on Broadway as Becky Thatcher in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" in 2001. In 2002 she appeared opposite acting heavyweights Liam Neeson and Laura Linney in the revival of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible."
The Tiny Blonde One appeared as The Tiny Thirteen Year Old One in Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillon in Summer 2004.
Kristen has given every evidence of being multi-talented judging from her deft comedy performance in "Veronica Mars," her heartfelt dramatic performances in the cable movies "Gracie's Choice" and "The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay" and her spot on cover singing Blondie's "One Way or Another" in the "Clash of the Tritons" episode of VM.
