Biography: Amy is a multifaceted actress who has appeared on countless popular television shows, in addition to having theatre, film commercial and modeling experience.
She has had roles on a number of hit television series, including "The Cosby Show" with Bill Cosby, NBC's "Fresh Prince of Bel Air," with Will Smith, USA Network's "Silk Stockings," "Step by Step" for ABC, "The Wayans Brothers," "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," "Family Matters," and Fox's "The Sinbad Show." Amy co-hosted The Comedy Channel's "Night After Night." she also went on location for ESPN's "Women in Sports."
Amy was a special guest host on "Soul Train," the weekly series where she met her husband, Tony Cornelius, son of creator-producer, Don Cornelius. Tony and Amy are proud parents of Christina Marie, their beautiful baby daughter.
She has appeared on a number of daytime soaps, including "The Young and the Restless," "Days of our Lives" and "As the World Turns."
Amy's theater work includes the starring role as Maria in "Westside Story," Beneathea in "A Raisin in the Sun, and " the green-eyed sister in "Words of Women."
Additionally, Amy's independent feature film work includes parts in "Scemes" and "Fire Sluths."
Amy's twelve year's of experience in modeling took her to New York and all over Europe. She also appeared in a number of commercials, including Miller, Chevrolet and Reebok.
She also enjoys all sports and loves to go horseback riding.
